In conjunction with the South Australian Government, TelcoEdge has developed an SMS and Email notification service so motorists can be reminded when their vehicle registrations are due.

Vehicle registration camera technology deployed by state governments is catching, and fining drivers of unregistered vehicles at an alarming rate.

Driving an unregistered vehicle attracts expensive fines, but if you’re involved in an accident in an unregistered, uninsured vehicle, you could lose your house and more. Accident commissions can seek to recover millions of dollars for third party injuries news article.

The new system, eNotice, solves the growing problem of people being unsure of when their registration renewal is due, as most state governments have eliminated, or are likely to eliminate in the near future, windscreen registration stickers.

Motorists can nominate up to two email addresses and up to two mobile numbers to receive reminder notifications as their expiry date approaches.

The notification system includes options to receive reminders seven days and/or one day prior to expiry and if your vehicle registration expires you will receive another reminder one day after.

First taken up in South Australia in response to the growing demand for convenient on-line services, eNotice is also available to all state governments.

eNotice is one of TelcoEdges’ many Voice and SMS reminder / alerting services used by telcos, business and government.
