Secure Fax

Enhance the security of your faxed documents with a range of TelcoEdge protection tools.

Sending and receiving fax documents via your email and the internet saves time and money, and applying TelcoEdge protection methods enhances security to ensure that only the designated recipient can open your documents.

Methods include applying passwords to the faxed document, placing the document in a zip file and applying a password to the zip, using an encrypted email transport mechanism, sftp and other custom solutions, most of which are included with our standard offerings at no extra charge. TLS Email Security

Sending and receiving fax via email utilises the public internet.

TelcoEdge email infrastructure supports Transport Layer Security (TLS). If your email server supports this standard then all emails to and from us will be encrypted as they travel across the public internet. You do not need to take any special action to gain this advantage.

Receiving Faxes via sFTP

TelcoEdge can receive faxed documents and upload them to your own environment via secure file transfer protocol (sFTP).

The secure TelcoEdge interface enables you to self-manage details for your host, port number, username, password, and directory to put files in within your host.

Additional features provide for being alerted to failures and to test your server settings.

Sending Faxes via Secure Web Interface

TelcoEdge provides a secure online interface where you enter a unique username and password and are issued with a digital certificate for the duration of your session. This provides encryption of communications between your device and our infrastructure.

Once logged in you can upload and send fax documents from within this secure environment.

Sending Fax API

TelcoEdge fax API provides for fax documents to be uploaded to us via a unique URL and accompanied by fax instructions using XML over HTTPS. This utilises the same digital certificate as our Secure Web Interface to encrypt the communications between your servers and our infrastructure.

This service is ideal where you want to provide our enhanced fax sending facilities to your existing infrastructure with minimal integration effort.
